LUV & WOO: content notes
- Mind control and compulsion: a character can make people act against their will, and the book treats it as a violation, not a romance mechanic
- A forced-disclosure scene: a character is made to say private trauma aloud without consent
- Captivity and restraint (collars, a cellar)
- Body horror: creatures that wear people; a spouse used as a host
- A parent's suicide, off-page, discussed
- Domestic abuse and an abusive family, referred to, not depicted
- Implied trafficking in a secondary character's past, referred to, not depicted
- Animal injury and death (livestock, a coyote; a fawn who lives)
- Blood, injury, near-drowning
- A mother who was never there
- Strong language throughout
- Graphic sexual insinuation: suggested and implied, in memory and a shared dream
These books are fiction. The town, characters and events are invented. The setting was inspired by real Texas Hill Country places, including Comfort's Timeship, but nothing in the books depicts the real building, its owners, or anyone connected to it.
